Can I change my plan on the day?
Plan changes cannot be made on the day of your visit. Please notify us at least 7 days prior to your visit.
Can I change the number of people in my reservation?
Changes can be made with 7 days notice.
When will I receive the shooting data?
Photography data will be delivered in downloadable format within 10 days of the shooting date.
Where can I shoot? Is it possible to go somewhere other than Asakusa?
The Standard Plan includes an indoor garden studio, Kaminarimon area, and Senso-ji area. (Light Plan includes indoor garden studio and Kaminarimon Gate) Please note that we cannot shoot outside of Asakusa.
Can I extend the shooting time?
Depending on availability, we may be able to accommodate your request. The fee for an extension is 22,000 yen(tax included) for an additional 30 minutes.
What payment methods are available?
Cash, credit cards (VISA, Master, AMERICAN EXPRESS, JCB, Diners Club) and We Chat Pay are accepted.
What happens if the weather is bad on the day of the tour?
The tour will be held even in the event of rain, and no cancellations or schedule changes will be accepted. However, the schedule can be changed if the store is unable to open due to significant inclement weather such as typhoons or heavy snowfall, or if it affects customer visits.
What should I do if I am late for my visit?
Please call the store to inform us on the day of your visit. Please note that your reservation will be automatically cancelled if you are more than 15 minutes late without notifying us.
What if I want to cancel my reservation?
Please be sure to contact us. Please note that 100% of the application fee will be charged for cancellations from 7 days prior to the reservation date, and 100% of the total amount of the reservation plan will be charged for cancellations from 6 days prior to the reservation date to the day of the visit.
Can I make a reservation for a large group?
Maximum of 4 persons
Can I rent a kimono and take pictures without a reservation?
Our store is by appointment only. Please be sure to make a reservation in advance.
I am pregnant. Can I wear a kimono?
Pregnant women can also be dressed, but it may be difficult depending on your belly and physical condition. Please consult with us before making a reservation. If you become ill during the shoot, we will stop the shoot with your health in mind. Please understand that we are not responsible for your health condition.
What time do I have to return the costume?
Please return by 4:00 p.m. on the same day.
Are there any points to consider when choosing a kimono?
Our stylists will make suggestions based on your favorite colors and patterns. You can decide while wearing several pieces of clothing.
What should I do if I stain or damage the costume I rented?
No cleaning fee will be charged for stains within the normal range of wear.
However, in the case of major damage or stains, we may charge the actual cost of repairs, etc.
Is there anything I need to prepare?
There is nothing you need to bring on the day.
How long does it take to get dressed?
Kimono dressing takes approximately 10-15 minutes. The total time from reception, kimono selection, dressing, and hair setting will be about 1 hour. However, the total time may vary depending on the number of guests and the number of people coming on the day of the service.
Does the amount of money vary depending on the kimono I choose?
All prices are flat rate.
Can I reserve kimonos?
There will be no reservation as everyone chooses their outfit on the day of the shooting.
We have about 100 costumes in the store, so please choose the one you like after trying.
Can I choose an obi and accessories?
All items, including obi and accessories, are available for you to choose from. Please try to find a wonderful coordination that is unique to you. If you have any trouble, our staff will be happy to make suggestions.
Do you have hair ornaments?
We have several available for you to choose from.
What sizes of costumes are available?
Women's: Free size (approx. M-L); Men's: S, M, L, 2L. If you are concerned about your size, please contact us in advance.
How many costumes are available?
We always have about 100 garments available.
Is it possible to wear a kimono of the opposite sex?
Yes, it is possible. We will do our best to meet your request, but there may be cases where it is difficult to accommodate your request due to the size of the kimono, etc. Please consult with us before making a reservation.
Do you provide makeup?
Only hair setting service will be provided. There will be no time for you to do your own makeup, so please have your makeup done before coming to the store.
What kind of hair styles can you do?
Depending on the length and texture of your hair, we will have a list of hair styles available to your preference.
If you have a preferred style, please let our staff member know.
Is men hair setting available?
Our hair setting services are for women only.
Can I bring my own hair accessories?
Yes, it is possible. Please ask our staff on the day of your visit.
Can I get a hair styling with short hair?
Possible. Our stylists will arrange your hair according to your hair length.
Can I check in large luggage such as carry-on cases?
For large luggage that cannot be stored in the lockers, our staff will store it in another area for you.
Space may be limited, so please consult with us prior to your visit.
Is tax exemption availble?
Our products are "services" and are not eligible for tax exemption.
Is there a place for my companion to wait?
You are not allowed to enter the dressing room, but you can wait inside the store. Please reserve before coming to avoid long waiting time.
